Guidelines for All Celebrations

Forms are available for all Celebration announcements, which may be picked up at our office, mailed or faxed to you or printed off our website.

We can compose the announcement from the information on the form or you can write it yourself, and we’ll copy, paste and check it for you.

Forms may be submitted by fax or mail; scanned and e-mailed to us; or delivered in person.

Suggestions

Engagements: Did you propose in a special or unique way? You can include that in your announcement.

Weddings: We can add descriptions of the bride’s dress, bouquet, rings, bridesmaids’ attire, special reception details or anything unique about your celebration.

We also print Graduations, Adoptions, Bon Voyages, Retirements, and more.

Photographs

We accept photos by print or digitally. For best reproduction for print photos, submit professional black and white or color photographs, with sharp focus and good contrast. Light backgrounds tend to be better than dark backgrounds, and photos can be reduced more effectively than enlarged.

Print your name on the back of photos.

The print size can be between 2 inches wide by 2.5 inches deep, up to 8×10.

The Post cannot be responsible for poor reproduction caused by soft lens photos, instant photos or poor focus. We accept digital photos by disk and e-mail, but please ensure minimum 200 dpi quality; a photo that looks OK on the Internet may not reproduce well in print.
