MOORESVILLE – Melvin Neal Wright, 65, of Tilman Drive, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at his residence. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Born May 7, 1941, in Rockingham, Mr. Wright was the son of the late Oscar Wesley and Lucy Ann Law Wright. He was a retired supervisor of Hersey Meters in Cleveland and a member of the North Carolina National Guard. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Mr. Wright is survived by his former wife, Phillis Lowrance of Mooresville; children Deborah Brooks and husband Don of Mooresville, Dennis Wright and wife Jodie of Cleveland; sister Vivian McCallister of Mount Mourne; grandchildren Matthew and Catlin Wright; and a number of nieces and nephews. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Service: Memorial services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Patton officiating. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Visitation: The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Memorials: May be made to First Wesleyan Methodist Church, 601 E.
