SALISBURY – Hope Park Ridenhour, 83, of 7305 Old Concord Road, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Born July 5, 1923, in Rowan County, Mrs. Ridenhour was the daughter of the late Charles and Rosa Trexler Park. She was educated in the Rowan County schools and received her nursing degree from Lowrance Hospital, Mooresville. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;She was formerly employed with Dr. Max Whicker and retired from the office of Dr. James Fry. Mrs. Ridenhour was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lewis Ridenhour, on Feb. 6, 2004. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Survivors include son Gerald Ridenhour and wife Vickie of China Grove; daughter Wanda Dagenhart and husband Keith of Salisbury; sisters Lola Ritchie and Kinard Sheeks, both of Salisbury; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Ebenezer Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. Michael Comer. Interment will follow at church cemetery. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Visitation: The family of Mrs. Ridenhour will receive friends 7-8:30 tonight at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove, is assisting the Ridenhour family in making arrangements for their loved one.
