SALISBURY – Ben Perry McCall, 79, of Salisbury, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, at his home. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Born July 22, 1927, in Greenville County, S.C., Mr. McCall was the son of the late Ed Perry and Lillian Jennings McCall. Educated in Greenville County, S.C., schools, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army Constabulary of the Special Forces during World War II. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Mr. McCall worked for Graf Metallic in Spartanburg, S.C., for 35 years and was manager of Oakland Meadows Mobile Home Park on Majolica Road for 10 years. He was a member of Sherrill’s Ford Road Baptist Church. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Survivors include his wife, Marie Jones McCall, whom he married Oct. 16, 1982; son Eddie McCall of Mauldin, S.C.; daughters Gwen Davis (Gerald) of Greer, S.C., Lana Morales (Hector) of Simpsonville, S.C.; stepdaughter Tricia H. Peeler (Jason) of Morganton; sisters Irene M. Wood and Lega Morgan Leake, both of Woodruff, S.C.; grandson Chad Davis (Candace); and great-granddaughter Anna Davis. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Visitation: Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Summersett Funeral Home; and the family will be at the residence at other times. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Service: The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Summersett Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. James Mazur officiating. Burial will follow in the U.S. National Cemetery, Statesville Boulevard location, with military graveside rites by the Rowan County Honor Guard. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Memorials: Memorials may be made to Sherrill’s Ford Road Baptist Church, 7125 Long Branch Road, Salisbury, NC 28147; or Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 128 N.
