LANDIS — Dono Bebber, 84, West Ryder Street, died Sunday (Dec. 17, 2006) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.

Born May 5, 1922, in Alexander County, Mr. Bebber was a son of the late Charlie Ray and Beatrice Watts Bebber.

Educated in the Alexander County schools, he was a member of Blackwelder Park Baptist Church. He retired after 43 years with Cannon Mills.

Survivors include brothers Bennie C. Bebber, Taylorsville, and Sammy C. and Jackie N. Bebber, both of Salisbury; and sister Nedda Oliphant, Kannapolis.

Services: 2 p.m. today (Dec. 20, 2006), Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove, conducted by the Rev. Stan Welch, pastor, Blackwelder Park Baptist Church; the Rev. Roger Head; and the Rev. Jim Strickland. Burial, West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
