Doris Mae Cash Fagan, 82, 618 N. Poplar Ave., died Friday (Dec. 15, 2006) at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.

Born Dec. 10, 1924, at Hartwell, Ga., Mrs. Fagan was a daughter of the late Russell and Eula Jane Stovall Cash.

She worked for Cannon Mills in earlier years and then for General Election, retiring because of disability.

She was a Baptist.

Her husband, John Robert Fagan, died in 1985.

Survivors include sons John “Butch” Fagan Jr., Hartwell, Ga., and Michael and Jerry Fagan, both of Kannapolis; daughters Linda F. Helton and Patty F. Russell, both of Kannapolis; brother Roy Cash, Anderson, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A service was held Sunday (Dec. 17, 2006) at Whitley’s Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Coy Privette. Burial, Carolina Memorial Park.
