KANNAPOLIS – Sylvia Eudy & quot;Nana & quot; Hamby, 61, of 5477 Whiting Ave., died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, at her home following a 20-year courageous battle with cancer. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Born Nov. 13, 1945, in Cabarrus County, Mrs. Hamby was the daughter of the late Daniel B. Eudy and Margaret Bost Eudy. She was a homemaker and a member of Skyland Baptist Church. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;She is survived by Roger Hamby of China Grove; daughters Kema Jenkins of the home and Kelly Sloop and husband Mike of Kannapolis; son Tracy Mullis and fiancee Lisa of Monroe; stepdaughter Annette Jones and husband Jeff of Mooresville; sisters Jean Fortner and husband Earl of Harrisburg and Patsy Lee and husband Willie of Mount Pleasant; brother Daniel & quot;Bud & quot; Eudy and wife Judy of Charlotte; and grandchildren Lauren Sloop, Logan Sloop, Veronica Jones and Samantha Jones. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Service: Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Gary Posey will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. & lt;br & gt; & lt;br & gt;Visitation: The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Lady’s Funeral Home.
