Emma Deese Randall

SALISBURY – Emma Frances Deese Randall, of 580 Jackson Road, 80, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Randall was born July 1, 1926, in Stanly County, a daughter to the late Burl David and Margaret Ellen Deese. Emma was a 1944 graduate of Derita School in Charlotte.
Mrs. Randall was a homemaker and well-known for her love of sewing, quilting and baking. She donated many quilts and baked goods to family, friends and fundraising events for charities and causes dear to her heart.
“Hamma,” as she was known for the past 30 years, is survived by her husband, William George “Bill” Randall; daughters Emma Grey Randall of Mooresville, Billie Randall Doyle of Mount Airy and Wilda Randall Camp of Albuquerque; respective sons-in-law Eugene Kuzminski of Mooresville, Keith Doyle of Mount Airy and Captain Al Camp of Albuquerque, N.M.; and grandchildren William Anthony (Tony) Smith of Hermosa Beach, Calif., and Eric Randall Camp and Alyssa Lauren (Sissy) Camp of Albuquerque, N.M.
She was preceded in death by nine of her 10 siblings.
Service: A memorial service will be held graveside at 11 a.m. today at Brookhill Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Lori Hefner, Hospice Chaplain, will officiate.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the residence and also at the cemetery following the service.
