SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Don Leon Alexander, 64, of Spartanburg, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007.

Born May 31, 1942, Don was the son of Pearl Ramo Alexander and the late Richard Lawrence Alexander. He was a graduate of Boyden High School and received his college degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem.

He built his life around the people he loved. He was blessed with many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. His cup overflowed with love. We will miss him to the depth of our souls.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Arey Alexander; son William Shaun Alexander; daughter Kristen Kelly Hilliard and husband Paige; brothers Loy Logsdon and James Alexander and wife Donna; and sister Bea Lutz and husband Earl. He was the loving grandfather of Brittany and Kennedi Lindsey and Arey Paige Hilliard.

Visitation: 1-2 p.m. Friday at Lyerly Funeral Home.

Memorial Service: 2 p.m. at Lyerly Funeral Home.
