Lindy Miller

A daughter, Lindy Reese, was born to Heather Nicole Slider and Jason E. Miller of Lucedale, Miss., on Nov. 20, 2006, at Providence Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces. Grandparents are Terrell and Kathy Slider of China Grove and James and Sharon Miller of Hurley, Miss. Great-grandparents are Euline Bolton and Charles and Joan Caraway, all of Hurley.

Annabelle Grogan

A daughter, Annabelle Grace, was born to Sam and Jessica Grogan of Charlotte on Oct. 19, 2006, at Carolinas Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. Grandparents are Lovey Grogan of Charlotte, the late Tom Grogan, and Dennis and Marcia Tolbert of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Peggy Privette of Lake Jackson, Texas, Rev. and Mrs. C.C. Tolbert of Salisbury and Marilyn Lumsdon of Des Moines, Iowa.

Lexie Howard

A daughter, Hannah Alexis, was born to Becky and Scott Howard of Rockwell on Dec. 21, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces. She has a sister, Haley, 10. Grandparents are Frank Kiker of Salisbury, Pat Kiker and Joyce Jackson, both of Rockwell and the late Melvin Howard. Great-grandparent is Alma Thompson of Wilson.

Delaney Fisher

A daughter, Delaney Elizabeth, was born to Kelly Callahan Fisher and Bill Fisher Jr. of Salisbury on Dec. 21, 2006, at Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte. She weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces. Grandparents are Marilyn and Bill Fisher Sr. of Salisbury, Judy and John Kay of St. Petersburg, Fla., and John Callahan of St. Petersburg Beach, Fla.

Jaydin White

A daughter, Jaydin Marissa, was born to Kathy Peerman and Julihan Maurice While of Salisbury on Dec. 19, 2006, at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem. She weighed 4 pounds, 8.5 ounces. Grandparents are Ennis Proffit of Bramwell, W. Va., Russell Shultz and Barbara White and Kevin Rankin, all of salisbury. Great-grandparents are Mary and Nolan Mangus Jr., both of Bluefield, Va., James and Mary Rankin of Salisbury and Mary Vines of Statesville.
