Rebecca Sue “Becky” Crane Brock, 61, 215 Ridgecrest Road, died Jan. 3, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.

Born Aug. 22, 1945, in Evansville, Ind., Mrs. Brock was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Ruth C. Crane.

She moved to Kannapolis from West Virginia in 1985 and worked for Shogren Industries, Concord.

She was a member of First Wesleyan Church and the Encounter Class.

Her husband, Larry Ward Brock, died Oct. 29, 2006.

Survivors include sons Chuck Brock, Concord, and Billy and David Brock, both of Kannapolis; daughter Christi Harrell, Kannapolis; brother Larry Caldwell; and sisters Martha Dean, Judy Thompson and Nita Dreiling; and four grandchildren.

A service was held Sunday (Jan. 7, 2007) at First Wesleyan Church, conducted by Dr. Forbis L. Kivett and the Rev. Wayne Preusz. Burial, Carolina Memorial Park.
