ROCKWELL – Judith Elizabeth Drye, 50, of Rockwell, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury.
Born Oct. 25, 1956, in Rowan County, Miss Drye was the daughter of Edna Alexander Drye of Rockwell and late William Frank Drye, who died Sept. 9, 1995. She was a 1975 graduate of East Rowan High School.
Miss Drye had worked for Hoechst Celanese Corp. and was a member of Lyerly Evangelical Church in Rockwell.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, are cousins Sue Eagle Pierce of Harrisburg and David Eagle of Rockwell and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation: Visitation will be Sunday from 3-4:30 p.m. at Powles Funeral Home, and the remainder of the time, at the home of her mother.
Service: Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Powles Funeral Home Chapel in Rockwell conducted by the Rev. W.C. “Junior” Gaither, pastor of Lyerly Evangelical Church. Burial will follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, Rockwell.
