MULBERRY, Fla. — Evelyn Marie Strickland, 74, Mulberry, Fla., died Jan. 10, 2007, at Estelle Hospice Home, Ocala, Fla.

Born March 20, 1932, in Greensboro, Mrs. Strickland was a daughter of the late Zeb Vance and Bessie Rogers Webster.

She formerly worked with school systems as a cafeteria employee.

Her husband, Frank James Strickland, and son Mark Allen Strickland preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters Darlene Harris, Ocala, Fla., and Joyce F. Stophel, Palm Harbor, Fla.; son Frank Strickland, Ocala, Fla.; sister Bessie Agusta McNally, Baltimore, Md.; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A service was held Monday (Jan. 15, 2007) at Lady’s Funeral Home, Salisbury, conducted by Pastor Steve Sprinkle. Burial, West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
