CHINA GROVE- Nina Mae Morris Freeze, 78, of China Grove, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007, at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.

Born December 9, 1928, in St Augustine, Fl., Mrs Freeze was a daughter of the late Frank Morris and Frances Powell Morris.

A retired nurse, she was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband George Henry Freeze whom she married May 23, 1946. Mr. Morris died Jan. 8, 2007. Also deceased are four sisters and one brother.

Surviving are three daughters: Barbara Freeze Helms of China Grove, Linda Freeze Hooks and husband Joe of China Grove, Sharon Freeze Wilshire and husband Philip of Virginia Beach, Va.; also six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 1-1:45 pm Tuesday, at Oak Grove United Methodist Church in China Grove. Other times the family will be at the home of daughter Linda Hooks, 795 Millbridge Rd., China Grove.

Service: 2 pm Tuesday at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, China Grove with Rev. Millie Orbison officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
