MOORESVILLE — Barbara Kaye Campbell Hines, 71, 2840 Deal Road, died Jan. 17, 2007, at her home.

Born Feb. 18, 1935, in Cabarrus County, Mrs. Hines was a daughter of the late Ray and Elizabeth Campbell.

She retired as the Dye Department supervisor at Cannon Mills, after 37 years with the company.

She was a member of the Hornet’s Nest Antique Car Club and Charity Baptist Church.

Survivors include husband Paul Hines, China Grove; daughter Cindy Sloop, China Grove; brothers Norman Campbell, Kannapolis, and Donald Campbell, Concord; sister Carolyn Fink, Kannapolis; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A service was held Sunday (Jan. 21, 2007) at Charity Baptist Church, Kannapolis, conducted by the Rev. R.J. Hammond, the Rev. Gene Beaver and the Rev. Ron Bushy. Burial, Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.

Whitley’s Funeral Home, Kannapolis, was in charge.
