MAYODAN – Calvin Leon White, Jr., 39, formerly of Mayodan, died Sunday Jan. 14, 2007, after a lengthy illness, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury
Calvin was born July 24, 1967, in Rockingham County to C.L. and Shirley White. He was a 1985 Graduate of Madison-Mayodan High School; was formerly employed with Mickey Truck Body and was an avid race car fan.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Cindy Charnock White; children, Katie LeeAnn and LeeAnn Nicole White; sisters and brother-in-laws, Cindy and Jeff Wall, Bobbie and Dave Walsh; nephews, Justin and Bricen Wall, Buddy Briggs, Dallas Walsh; nieces, Chelsea and Whitney Briggs; mother-in law, Becky McFarling Bowman; father-in-law, Ronald Charnock.
Service: A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Fletcher Manuel and Rev. Mike Manuel officiating. Interment will follow in Mayodan Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Colonial Funeral Home and other times at the home of C.L. and Shirley White, 324 S. Fourth Avenue, Mayodan, NC.
