Sides Iafeliece Wedding

CHAPEL HILL — Dr. Ashley Anne Sides of Manitou Springs, Colo., and Gregory John Iafeliece of Colorado Springs, Colo., were united in marriage Sept. 16, 2006, at Fearrington House Gardens in Fearrington Village.
The Rev. Craig Sigmon of Rockwell officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Fearrington Barn.
The bride was escorted by her father, Julian M. Sides. Sister of the bride Mrs. Leslie Allen of Wilmington was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Mary Margaret Morrison of Lawrence, Kans., Dr. Natasha Chmelir of Grants Pass, Ore., Mrs. Nancy Luft of San Francisco, Calif., and Ms. Raga Jakupko of Alachua, Fla.
John Perrotti of Key Largo, Fla. was best man. Serving as groomsmen were Joe Hamilton of Pembroke Pines, Fla., and Josh Bartlett, Tim Hylton and Jon Csakany, all of Colorado Springs.
Liturgist was Julian E. Sides, brother of the bride of Rockwell. Program attendant was Catherine Herko of Lewisville.
The bride is the daughter of Julian and Terry Sides of Rockwell. A 1993 honor graduate of East Rowan High School, Ashley graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. In 2002, she graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a degree in veterinary medicine. She is employed by Animal Emergency Care Centers of Colorado Springs.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Pam Iafeliece of Delray Beach, Fla. A 1987 graduate of Boca Raton Community High School, Greg earned a degree in nursing from Florida Atlantic. He is also a graduate of Florida State Fire College and National Fire Academy. He is a firefighter paramedic with Colorado Springs Fire Department and is a member of the Mountain Search and Rescue Team.
Following a wedding trip through the Mediterranean country of Croatia, the couple are living in Manitou Springs.
