SALISBURY – James Roger Johnson II, of 314 Foster Lane, affectionately known as “JR,” died unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 15, 2007.
Mr. Johnson was born March 12, 1980, to Mr. James Johnson and Diane Evans Johnson in Abingdon,Va. He was educated in the Virginia and North Carolina public schools and was an employee at Walmart in Salisbury.
He was loved and appreciated by those he encountered and was known for his smile and sense of humor. He was a member of New Birth in Charlotte.
He leaves behind cherished memories to his mother, Mrs. Diane E. Johnson of Salisbury; father Mr. James Johnson of Hyattsville, Md.; daughter Jania Johnson of Salisbury; sisters Stephanie Hash-Huntley(Ernest) and Tanisha and Latoya Johnson, all of Salisbury; brother John Hash; and a host of other relatives.
Service: Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Love Christian Center in East Spencer, officiated by Bishop Ron Hash and eulogy by Bishop James Johnson.
Visitation: Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to service.
Burial will be at Mount Rose Glade Spring in Bristol, Tenn.
