Mae B. Tucker

Mae B. Tucker, 89, 5284 Woodside St., died Jan. 31, 2007, at her daughter’s China Grove home.
Born Sept. 27, 1917, in Wilkes County, Mrs. Tucker was a daughter of the late John and Fannie Baker.
She retired from Corriher Mills and was a member of West A Tabernacle Church.
Her husband, Lonnie M. Tucker, died June 4, 2000, and daughter Hazel T. Kelly also preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters Bobbie T. Steele, Kannapolis, and Joyce T. Bowman and Diane T. Funderburk, both of China Grove; son Lonnie L. Tucker, Raleigh; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A service was held Saturday (Feb. 3, 2007) at West A Tabernacle Church, conducted by the Rev. Richard Pethel. Burial, West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
Whitley’s Funeral Home was in charge.
