Charles Robinson Jr.
Charles Preston Robinson Jr., 39, 1503 Burning Lantern Lane, died Nov. 22, 2006.
Born Aug. 3, 1967, in Mecklenburg County, Mr. Robinson was a son of Flossie Floyd Robinson, Harrisburg, and the late Charles P. Robinson.
A graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School, he served in the U.S. Army’s Airborne Ranger Division.
He was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church, Concord, where he served on mission trips and was a former deacon and member of the Finance Committee and Men’s Group.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include wife Monica Stockton Robinson; daughters Emily and Grace Robinson; son Zach Robinson; sister Rhonda Robinson Chambers, Lincolnton; and grandmother Josephine Stockton, Concord.
A service was held Sunday (Nov. 26, 2006) at Parkwood Baptist Church, Concord, conducted by the Rev. Darrell Coble. Burial, Carolina Memorial Park.
Whitley’s Funeral Home was in charge.
