Harold E. Fink
Harold Edward Fink, 79, Boulevard Park Circle, died June 6, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston Salem.
Born Sept. 21, 1927, in Cabarrus County, Mr. Fink was a son of the late Henry Michael and Ila Wentz Fink.
He formerly worked in the Bleachery at Cannon Mills. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of Disabled American Veterans and Poston Perkins VFW Post 8989.
He was a member of North Kannapolis Baptist Church.
Survivors include son Michael Ray Fink; daughter Marie Elizabeth Fink Rodriguez, Kannapolis; sisters Thelma Richardson, Concord, and Ceola Carter, Gold Hill; brother Charlie Fink, Kannapolis; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and caregivers/friends Darlene and Jimmie McGinnis, China Grove.
A military graveside service was conducted Monday (June 11, 2007) at the VA National Cemetery, Salisbury.
Lady’s Funeral Home was in charge.
