Our second North American Pairs duplicate game will be held next Tuesday evening at the Salisbury Woman’s Club. Game time is 7 p.m. The entry fee is $5.
Three pairs, Stella Shadroui/ Steve Moore, Phoebe Beard/Ellna Simpson-Elton, Betsy Bare/ Craig Poplin, tied for first place in our weekly game held July 17.

The Poplin/Bare partnership defeated their East opponent’s three no trumps contract two tricks for the best N/S score on this deal.
The Beard/Elton pair fulfilled a five diamonds contract for the top E/W score.
In the Evergreen Club’s July 13 duplicate game, Myrtle Brandon and Betsy Bare scored high overall and first N/S. Myrnie and John McLaughlin took first place E/W.
Other winners were: N/Só Linda and Dick Euler, second; Marie Pugh and Ellna Simpson-Elton, third.
