Spotlight on Nonsense Deep, performing at TABU Friday

Nonsense Deep is a three piece acoustic band, but being acoustic does not stop them from covering everything from the Rolling Stones and the Eagles, to newer rock like Dave Matthews Band and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and even some Bob Marley reggae.
Band members Jason Rimmer, Mark Wurster and Ashley Honbarrier, all from Salisbury, consider themselves a simple jam band. With love of so many different kinds of music, they find it hard to categorize and set a specific genre.
According to Ashley, “We simply just want to play every song as good, and hopefully better, to pay tribute to the original artists, with what we’ve got, and with the passion, heart, and soul it deserves. That’s what music is all about!”
Jason began playing live and traveled as a solo artist for about six years. Three years ago, he and Ashley got together, and she accompanied him with congas and percussion. The two traveled Florida for while, then eventually returned to Salisbury and met up with old friend Mark, who had previously played with other bands, and was looking to get back into music.
Nonsense Deep is currently working on establishing an audio production and recording facility that will hopefully benefit other upcoming local musicians in the future. They are also working on an original album that will be available soon.
You can check out Nonsense Deep this Friday at TABU on the corner of Church and Horah Streets, underneath La Cava Restaurant. The show starts at 10 p.m. There’s no cover.
