Rachel Bell and her cousin, Harrison Bell, bagged big bucks this hunting season.
Rachel, 11, is the daughter of Rodney and Regina Bell of Salisbury. She was hunting with her dad when she shot the 8-pointer that weighed 165 pounds. It was her second deer of the season.
Harrison, also 11, killed his first big buck, an 8-pointer, a few days before Rachel got hers. He was watching a 4-pointer at daylight when the bigger one appeared. He’s the son of Randy and Ann Bell of Rockwell.
Both youngsters were hunting in the eastern part of the county.
