In praise of North’s ‘Cinderella’ musical
Congratulations and thank you to North Rowan High School for the wonderful presentation of the musical “Cinderella” several weekends ago.
This event was a great cultural experience for NRHS and the community. The cast, crew, musicians, support staff and sponsors are to be applauded for pursuing and presenting this musical.
As a former NRHS parent and continuing supporter, I believe this production was yet another representation of positive aspects of students, staff and parents.
Thank you all so much for an inspiring evening of music and laughter.

Obama is diplomatic
Regarding Bonnie Erbe’s recent column, “Mr. President, please zip up the inexperience”:
This particular column could have been different with more maturity and professionalism.
Did you ever think about why Mr. Obama hesitated or refused to speak of the administration he had just assumed? Why, that would have been a very ignorant thing to do.
Today, we call that behavior of Mr. Obama diplomatic and intelligent.
Madam, continue to write. I will pray for your growth and maturity.
