Coming Sunday: Athletes dealing with asthma

Millions of young people are affected by asthma, but the respiratory condition need not prevent them from participating in sports, even at a high level.
Baseball player Micah Jarrett and runner Andrew Burgess are two local athletes who have learned how to control their asthma and excel in their sports.
“Asthma is serious,” Jarrett says, but if you’re smart about controlling it, you can do anything you want, he adds. Pediatrician Christopher Magryta agrees.
