Man charged in Nov. 16 Pizza Hut robbery

A Salisbury man has been charged with last fall’s robbery of a local Pizza Hut restaurant.
Corey Trevaris Robinson, 21, of 714 N. Shaver St., is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $50,000 bond.
He was charged Wednesday and is accused of robbing the Pizza Hut of $2,469.62 last Nov. 16.
According to an arrest warrant filed at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office, Robinson used a handgun to threaten a pair of employees.
His first court appearance is this morning.
The warrant did not specify the Pizza Hut where the robbery occurred.
There are two Pizza Hut restaurants in Salisbury ó a delivery or carryout branch at 520 W. Jake Alexander Blvd. and a dine-in restaurant at 1030 E. Innes St.
