Police find man wanted in Mississippi

A man police noticed as he was standing in the middle of the road is on his way to a Mississippi jail.
A Salisbury Police officer spotted Brian Keith White, 38, of 615 E. Cemetery St., near the intersection of Shaver Street and Liberty Street.
Officer E.B. McLaughlin opted to check on outstanding warrants and discovered that White was wanted in Pearl River County, Miss. on charges of cocaine possession and possession of stolen goods.
The sheriff’s department there told police they would extradite White, who is also known by other names, including Kevin Bradley Smith, Brian Jones and “Possum.”
He is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under $100,000 bond.
