RALEIGH ó The North Carolina Soybean Producers Association will hold a meeting of soy producers from Iredell, Rowan, Surry, Davie, Yadkin, Catawba and Alexander counties at the Iredell County Extension Center in Statesville today.
At the meeting, called the Soybean Summer Festival, area soybean producers will hear presentations on research projects to increase yield, the latest agricultural technology and soybean marketing, followed by a dinner reception with their families.
Soybean producers in Rowan County are invited to attend. The meeting begins at 4:30 p.m.
