The Big Band Bash returns this year Saturday, Jan. 5, at Hedrick Little Theatre and The Crystal Lounge on the campus of Catawba College.
At 8 p.m. sharp, Maestro David Hagy will strike up the band in Hedrick Little theatre. The featured soloist for the evening is Ernest Lewis, a senior at Wake Forest University.
Following the concert, there will be a reception in the Crystal Lounge, where guests will dance to live big band music. Guests will enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres catered by “The Right Touch.”
The black-tie optional event is a benefit for the Salisbury-Rowan Symphony Society.
It is recommended that tickets be purchased in advance, since space is limited. Tickets are $75 per person, $63 of which is tax-deductible.
