After school enrichment program begins Sept. 2The Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church and Westside Community Foundation, Inc. Stepping-Up Youth Education and Enrichment Center After school Program will begin Sept. 2 and run through May 22, 2009.
Hours will be 3:30-5:30 p.m..
Priority enrollment will be given to academically at-risk students attending Overton, Knox, Isenberg and Koontz schools.
Assistance with homework, academic enrichment and snacks will be provided. Transportation will be provided to program from schools.
Registration takes place 5-6:30 p.m. Aug. 19, 20, 25 and 26.
The cost upon enrollment is $10 for registration and $50 for two weeks in advance ($60 total).
