How many Salisburians does it take to change light bulbs?
The Community Appearance Commission is asking for the public’s help in changing out the light bulbs on the city’s Christmas Angels.
Last week, members of the Community Appearance Commission met in the parking lot of the Rent-A Center (across from The Gateway parking lot off North Lee Street), and they discovered changing the bulbs is pretty time-consuming.
They only finished six of the 20 angels.
Now the commission is asking for the community’s help in changing the light bulbs from 4-5:15 p.m. Wednesday and 4-5:15 p.m. Nov. 19.
Again, the location will be the Rent-A Center parking lot.
The Christmas Angels, done by local artists, are placed at various locations throughout the downtown during the holiday season.
