Blotter: 92-year-old injured during strong-arm robbery at his home

A 92-year-old man fell, severely injuring his head, during a Nov. 2 strong-arm robbery at his South Milford Drive home, according to the Salisbury Police Department.

– Kenneth Leo Drye reported his jeans containing his wallet were stolen while he was at Hall’s Gym, 1300 W. Bank St., Oct. 22.
– Znaador Wongbe reported his debit card taken and used without his permission Oct. 24 or 25.
– Crystal Jeannette Hewett reported someone fraudulently used her debit card to withdraw $460 from her account Oct. 31.
– Samuel Stanton reported someone used a Blockbuster Video card without authorization Oct. 31 at 850 W. Jake Alexander Blvd.
– Derrick L. Lyerly Jr. was charged Oct. 31 with shoplifting items valued at $22.85 from Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St.
– Vanessa Cline Eanes reported the passenger-side mirror was removed from her vehicle while it was parked at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, 1333 S. Jake Alexander Blvd., Oct. 31.
– Sherita Yvonne Chase reported an Oct. 31 vandalism in the YMCA parking lot at 828 W. Jake Alexander Blvd.
– Joanne Phifer Bridges reported her wallet stolen from her purse Oct. 31 at 817 E. Lafayette St.
– A clerk at a 827 W. Jake Alexander Blvd. store reported a customer assaulted her Oct. 31 with a carton of beer when she told him he couldn’t mix types of beer in a six-pack.
– A 20-year-old female reported she was assaulted Oct. 31 at the intersection of Elm and Stanley streets.
– Joshua Curtis Coker, 30, 165 Autumn Glenn Drive, Rockwell, was charged Oct. 31 with misdemeanor larceny of nine pieces of steel fencing from Southern States, 1710 W. Jake Alexander Blvd. He was held under $1,000 secured bond pending a Jan. 14 trial date.
– A 45-year-old female reported she was assaulted Oct. 31 at 799 S. Railroad St.
– Joel Carcamo Lopez, 21, 1037 Matika Drive, was charged Nov. 1 with felony breaking and entering to commit burglary or house-breakings and misdemeanor carrying concealed weapons at 100 Par Drive. He was held under $3,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Brian Edward Isenhour, 35, 431 Correll Loop Road, and Wendy Lynn Shutt, 25, 625 N. Shaver St., were charged Nov. 1 with felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at the intersection of East Cemetery Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. They were held under $2,000 secured bond each pending a first appearance in court.
– Carl Steven Flora reported the license plate stolen off his vehicle while it was parked at 920 Rowan Ave. Nov. 1.
– Hollan Dukelow reported his stolen debit card was used Nov. 1 at Murphy’s Express, 1010 Freeland Drive.
– A 28-year-old female was the victim of a Nov. 1 strong-arm robbery at Salisbury Laundromat, 418 E. Innes St.
– Martin Leon Shepperson reported a dog stolen Oct. 29 from 142 Ridge Ave.
– Arson is suspected in a Nov. 2 fire at a vacant house at 112 N. Shaver St., owned by Nesbit Chunn Rudisell.
– Charles Willard Hinson reported vandals broke the driver’s side window in his vehicle Nov. 2 while it was parked in the lot behind his 926 S. Fulton St. home.
– Angela Castor Bolick, 43, 158 Creekview Drive, China Grove, was charged Nov. 2 with possession of drug paraphernalia at 226 N. Long St. She was held under $500 secured bond pending a Dec. 23 trial date.
– A 32-year-old man reported he was the victim of an armed robbery Nov. 2 at Wilco Hess, 500 E. Innes St.
– Police are investigating a report that two armed suspects forced a male victim into his North Craige Street home Nov. 3, assaulted and bound three victims and then stole items from the house.
– A masked, armed man robbed Rushco 16, 1518 E. Innes St., Nov. 3.
– Matthew Walter Robertson, 23, was charged Oct. 31 with misdemeanor larceny at 1710 W. Jake Alexander Blvd.
– Demareo Obyan Bost, 20, 913 S. Long St., East Spencer, was charged Oct. 31 with resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer and assault on a government official following the football game at Salisbury High School. He was held under $1,000 secured bond pending a Nov. 24 trial date.
– Jerry Allen Everhart, 56, 421 S. Lee St., was charged Nov. 1 with assault inflicting serious injury based on a complaint by Robert Lee White, 419 S. Lee St. Everhart was held under $300 secured bond pending a Dec. 4 trial date.
– Alan Day McManus, 18, 125 Chillingham Road, Garner, was charged Nov. 2 with resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer and purchasing/possessing alcohol by anyone under 21 at Catawba College, 2300 W. Innes St. Trial date is Feb. 2.
– Dale Suzanne Salony reported a wallet stolen Nov. 3 at 1316 N. Long St.
– Charavia Anita Blackman reported shots were fired into an apartment at 100 Clancy St. Nov. 3.
– David Jamal Lingard, 27, streets of Salisbury, was charged Nov. 3 with assault inflicting serious injury and misdemeanor breaking and entering a building. He was held under $1,000 secured bond pending a Jan. 6 trial date.
– Antonio Marquell Jackson, 22, 1117 Crosby St., No. 1B, was charged Nov. 3 with assault on a female based on a complaint by Cristin Celeste Ruggs, 1116 Fries St. He was held under $500 secured bond pending a Dec. 4 trial date.
– Dashon Kyle Johnson, 28, 2802 W. Innes St., No. 15, was charged Nov. 3 with felony habitual felon.
