Two charged with felony breaking, enteringRowan County Sheriff’s Office deputies charged two men with felony breaking and entering Jan. 28.
Robert Tyrone Ballard, 39, 206 E. Ridge Ave., Landis, and Donny Ray Martin, 30, 107 Lane Ave., Concord, were both charged with felony breaking and entering, while Martin was also charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon. Both were held pending first appearances in court.
In other Sheriff’s Office reports:
– Sam Miller reported Jan. 23 that someone cut off the catalytic converter off his truck. Total loss was $250.
– Craig Moose reported Jan. 23 that electrical wire had been stolen from a house under construction at 7000 W. N.C. 152.
– Brian Kepley of Salisbury reported Jan. 23 that scrap metal had been stolen from an storage building at 220 Ridenhour Road.
– Maria Luisa Davidson reported Jan. 23 that someone had used her name with the Internal Revenue Service.
– Michael Anthony Propst, 1135 Propst Road, China Grove, reported Jan. 23 that someone had entered his home and removed items.
– Gary Dale Hartsell of Midland reported the Jan. 24 theft of $395 worth of bricks and mortar mix from a construction site at 1134 Dublin Court.
– Kimberly Nickelson reported Jan. 24 that she had received three forged money orders at her 1006 Packard Ave, Kannapolis, home.
– Timothy Hamer of Salisbury reported the Jan. 24 theft of $500 worth of copper tubing stolen from a house being built at 1002 Weatherby Drive.
– Jonathan Ronald Freeland, 27, 2612 Caralea Valley Drive, Concord, was charged Jan. 24 with second-degree trespassing based on a complaint by Zachery Dale Freeland, 6840 Wrenn Ave., Kannapolis. He was held under $300 secured bond pending a March 9 trial date.
– Lisa Michelle Haire, 207 Bonnie Lane, China Grove, reported items valued at $1,760 stolen during a Jan. 24 larceny at her home.
– Timothy Joseph Kirkley, 23, 212A Fairson Ave., was charged Jan. 29 with felony failure to register as a sex offender. He was held under $500 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– A $200 scroll saw was taken from China Grove Gun and Pawn Shop, 5850 S. Main St., China Grove, Jan. 24 in a case of fraud by false pretense.
– Denver Wayne Barney, 26, 1902 Troutman Hill Road, Kannapolis, was charged Jan. 25 with injury to personal property based on a complaint by Sara Nicole Guyette of Mount Pleasant. Trial date is Feb. 14.
– Shawn Isaac Boyd, 25, 129 Ridge Creek Court, was charged Jan. 26 with misdemeanor larceny based on a complaint by Genina McCoy, 700 E. Liberty St. Trial date is March 6.
– Brian Thomas Bradshaw, 29, 5550 Wright Road, was charged Jan. 24 with misdemeanor shoplifting in Cabarrus County. He was held under $1,500 secured bond pending a Feb. 7 trial date in Cabarrus County.
– Ronald Dunlap Copeland, 46, 825 Green St., was charged Jan. 26 with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering. He was held under $7,500 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Joseph Andrew Daniels, 24, 2785 Mount Hope Church Road, was charged Jan. 27 with second-degree trespassing based on a complaint by Tammie Lewis. He was released on a written promise to appear in court Feb. 29.
– Thomas Ralph Duke, 79, 240 Duke Drive, was charged Jan. 25 with assault by pointing a gun based on a complaint by Alan Ray Ames, 205 Duke St. Trial date is March 6.
– Jennifer Mae Flowers, 20, 9310 Fisher Road, Rockwell, was charged Jan. 24 with simple assault based on a complaint by Jeffrey McEachean, 1320 Camp Road. Trial date is March 6.
– Charles Andrew Foutz, 46, and Mary Wagoner Foutz, 52, both of 173 Silk and Tassel Road, Cleveland, were charged Jan. 28 with simple assault based on a complaint by Patrick Sylvester, 2133 Jake Alexander Blvd. Trial date is March 6.
– Kenneth Wayne Gabriel, 26, 6590 Mooresville Road, was charged Jan. 24 with felony habitual felon. He was held pending a Superior Court appearance.
– Joshua Lane Greene, 27, 208 Woodbury Drive, was charged Jan. 29 with first-degree trespassing and breaking and entering based on a complaint by Tina Daniels, 216 Charter Way. He was released on a written promise to appear in court March 8.
– Luis Fernando Salazar Guerrero, 22, 306 Cedar Valley Drive, was charged Jan. 27 with giving fictitious information to an officer. He was held under $300 secured bond pending a Feb. 19 trial date.
– Rodney Neil Hardin, 29, 2501 Windswept Way, Rockwell, was charged Jan. 25 with resisting a public officer. He was held under $1,000 secured bond pending a Feb. 28 trial date in Cabarrus County.
– William Robert Hastings Jr., 38, 740 Mount Hope Church Road, was charged Jan. 24 with assault on a female and communicating threats based on a complaint by Patricia G. Loflin, same address. He was released on a written promise to appear in court Feb. 28.
– Edward Antiona Morrow, 29, 750 Eastview Heights, Lot 10, was charged Jan. 24 with assault with a deadly weapon. He was held under $500 secured bond pending a March 20 trial date.
– William Ray Robertson, 19, 750 Eastview Heights, Lot 16, was charged Jan. 24 with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He was held under $500 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Brandy Dalton Rogers, 31, 1196 Rainwood Drive, was charged Jan. 25 with simple possession. She was held under $1,000 secured bond pending a Feb. 20 trial date.
– Derick Allen Thomas, 23, 125 Mallard Lane, Rockwell, was charged Jan. 26 with Second-degree trespassing and simple assault based on a complaint by Bryant Casey, 130 Mallard Lane, Rockwell. Thomas was held under $1,500 secured bond pending a Feb. 28 trial date.
– Jacquelyn Michelle Watts, 35, 725 Choate Road, was charged Jan. 24 with possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held under $1,500 secured bond pending a Feb. 13 trial date.
