A Salisbury woman was arrested Thursday on drug charges.
Rebekah Kaala Absher, 29, of 525 W. Council St. was charged with trafficking in opium; possession of drug paraphernalia, a smoking pipe used to introduce a controlled substance into the body; and simple possession of marijuana, according to arrest reports.
Absher was placed under $7,500 secured bond pending a Nov. 3 first-appearance hearing in Rowan District Court.
