A neighborhood cat kept watch on photographer Wayne Hinshaw’s birdfeeder recently, hoping to catch a bird eating. The cat watched and waited under the feeder, sometimes circling around and always keeping her eyes trained on the feeder.
When no bird came after a while, the cat decided to jump up on the feeder and be a “catbird” herself, Hinshaw says.
