A Cornelius man was arrested Thursday for possession of a firearm at Catawba College.
Henry Brown Pethel III, 22, 19816 Lacebark Dr., Cornelius, was arrested for possession of a Beretta .40 caliber pistol on educational property.
He was released from the Rowan County Detention Center on $1,000 bond with a court appearance scheduled for Monday.
