Rowan History Club
The November meeting of the Rowan History Club will be Tuesday, 7 p.m., and will feature Terry Holt, museum staff and those attending to honor veterans, living and deceased, for Veterans Day.
Rowan County’s honor roll of Purple Heart recipients from past wars will be on display.
Guests are asked to bring other memorabilia and stories to share with the group.The meeting will be in the Messinger Room, accessible by elevator. Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month. The museum is at 202 N. Main St. Guests for the program should use the rear entrance.
A round table format will allow for a 30-45 minute presentation, followed by a question and answer period.
The Rowan History Club is open to all persons interested in Rowan history. There are no dues or admission fees, and refreshments are served.
