Salisbury man placed under $25,000 bond after arrest for breaking and entering

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged Randall Jerome Thornsberg, 24, of 585 Squirrel Run, Salisbury, with breaking, entering and larceny and possession of burglary tools Friday.
He is accused of breaking into a storage building at 130 Sweet Briar and taking an air compressor, Weedeater, air blower, 11 fishing rods and reels, tools and a tool box. Value of the items was $2,670.
Thornsberg was placed under $25,000 bond. His first appearance in court will be Monday morning.
Cedric Lamont Gill, 25, of 55 Cottage Lane, Richmond, was detained in Rowan County Friday for extradition and as a fugitive of the state.
He was wanted by Virginia State Police for failure to register as a sex offender. He was arrested Friday by R.T. Taylor of the Granite Quarry Police Department and placed under $25,000 bond.
