The man hit by a train on July 16 has been identified as Christopher Daniel Warr, 18, of Sanford.
Warr’s mother contacted the Salisbury Police Department July 24 to report her son was missing.
She told police that Warr had been staying in Salisbury and one of his friends told her Warr had not been seen since July 16 at around 10 p.m., when he left the house at 1018 S. Main St. to walk to Wal-Mart
Police were able to identify the victim through photographs.
