West Rowan High School will host a community pep rally this Friday night at its football stadium to honor its varsity football team as they prepare to travel to Winston-Salem on Saturday to capture the state title.
Everyone is invited to bring their food and enjoy tailgating at 6 p.m. behind the school. The pep rally will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a bonfire at 7 p.m.
There is no admission fee for this event.
Tickets for Saturday’s game will be available at the pep rally at a discounted rate of $9 each. They are $10 at the gate on Saturday.
The public is encouraged to come out and show support for the Falcon players, cheerleaders and band members.
