Doctor to speak about arthritis

Rowan Regional Medical Center Diabetes Support Group will host Dr. Stacy Kennedy to discuss ěLiving With Arthritis and Diabetes.î
Kennedy will give an overview of different types of rheumatologic diseases such as gout, lupus, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and other rheumatic diseases, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis.
Kennedy completed her rheumatology fellowship training at Duke University, which has been ranked as one of the top rheumatology programs in the country. She practices at Rowan Rheumatology and Associates in Salisbury.
The support group will meet in the Education Resource Center on the fourth floor, Tower A at Rowan Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, April 5 at 2 p.m. There is no cost and registration is not necessary.
The purpose of the RRMC Diabetes Support Group is to provide support and education for people with diabetes and their families.
