Break-ins, thefts reported

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several break-ins and thefts that happened earlier this week.
Joseph Kaiser reported Monday that 200 welding leads were taken from his pickup truck parked overnight behind a building at 2060 Lower Palmer Road. The leads were worth $1,500.
Other thefts or break-ins under investigation include:
• Jeffrey Wallace reported his 2008 red Jonway scooter was taken from 1085 Harrison Road between March 18 and March 19. The scooter is valued at $500.
• Someone broke into the home of Tonya Wilks, on Airport Road, and took an XBOX 360 valued at $300. Damages to Wilks’ home were estimated at $100.
• Russell Clodfelter of Flat Rock Road reported a $500 air compressor was taken from his home between March 20 and March 21.
• Allen Drew of Liberty Road, Gold Hill, reported a $750 skid sprayer was taken from his property.
• Steve Russell of East Ridge Road reported Monday that two bicycles were taken from his home overnight.
