Transou Terry Engagement

Hal and Mary Transou of Elkin are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Haley Autumn Transou, to Zachary David Terry, both of Carrboro.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bob and Velda Transou of Elkin and Dr. Everett and Carol Taylor of Roaring Gap. A 2001 graduate of Elkin High School, Haley graduated from East Carolina University in 2005, where she was a member of the National Honors Society and president of ECU College Democrats. She is the development director of the Eastern N.C. Chapter of the National MS Society.
The future groom is the son of Glenn R. and Rebecca Terry of Salisbury and Margaret Houlihan of Bells, Tex., and the grandson of the late Rev. Dr. R. Harold Terry of Salisbury, the late Martha Frye Nye of Hickory and Robert and Jacqueline Houlihan of Aubrey, Tex. A 1999 graduate of West Rowan High School, Zachary graduated from Western Carolina University in 2005. He is a retail sales manager for The Bicycle Chain in Chapel Hill.
The couple will marry May 28 at Raffaldini Vineyards in Ronda.
