Myers Van Althuis Engagement

Dickie and Kim Myers of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Karis Annette Myers, to Kyle Edward Van Althuis of New Bern.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Jesse and Annette Morgan and Lorraine Myers, all of Salisbury. A valedictorian of the 2006 graduating class of West ?Rowan High School, Karis graduated with honors from Liberty University in 2009. She is currently studying in the Physician’s Assistant program at East Carolina University.
The future groom is the son of Frank and Diana Van Althuis of Sherburne, N.Y., and the grandson of Tina and Ed Van Althuis of Sherburne and Evelyn Vandergroef of Wantage, N.J. A 2005 graduate of Valley Heights Christian Academy, Kyle graduated from Liberty University in 2009, also receiving the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. He is a Wildlife Enforcement Officer with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission.
The couple will marry Aug. 6 at Maranatha Bible Church.
