Edwards Baptism

Gunner Campbell Edwards, infant son of Bryan and Amy Edwards of Mount Ulla and grandson of Carol Campbell and Ronnie and Becky Edwards, was baptized Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Haven Lutheran Church. The Rev. Ed Harper officiated at the 10:30 a.m. service.
Gunner wore his father’s christening suit for the occasion.
Gunner’s great-grandmother, Margaret Lyerly, placed flowers in the church in his honor.  He is her first great-grandson.
After the service, Gunner’s parents hosted a luncheon in the church fellowship hall for family and friends, which was catered by The Downtowner Restaurant.
Gunner received several gifts to commemorate this special day.
