Hoffman 55th Anniversary

Sam and Barbara Hoffman of Salisbury celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary June 3, 2011. The couple met on a blind date and were married June 3, 1956, at First Baptist Church. They have lived most of their lives in Salisbury.
Sam retired four years ago as Regional Sales Manager from Fasco America in Muscle Shoals, Ala., where he was employed 36 years. Barbara has been a church pianist and organist for many years.
The Hoffmans have three children who grew up in Salisbury, Mr. Sandy Hoffman of Santa Fe, N.M., Mr. Marc Hoffman of Salisbury and Ms. Diane Hoffman of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Their six grandchildren are Lauren Hoffman Pilger, Crystal Johnson Friece, Nicholas Hoffman, Jeremy Johnson, Nathan Hoffman and August ?Ruth Hoffman, who is 5. They also have five great-grandchildren, Madison Friece, Aaron Hoffman, Judah Pilger, Isaiah Hoffman and Kylee Johnson.
The couple’s celebration included a family dinner on June 4.
