Luke Carter Graduation

Luke Carter was awarded a commission as a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps May 14, 2011, after completing Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Va., and graduating summa cum laude and as Valedictorian from N.C. State University with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
He is the son of Scott and Jeanette Carter of Asheville and grandson of Paul and Lois Carter of Salisbury.?
