Blackmon Lipe Engagement

Freddie and Debbie Blackmon of Whitakers are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Lora Blackmon of Charlotte, to Gregory Alexander Lipe of Kannapolis.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Ferman and the late Sue Hux of Enfield and the late Fred L. and Mae Dee Blackmon of Whitakers. A 1996 graduate of Enfield Academy and 2000 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Lora is employed by Cabarrus County DSS.
The future groom is the son of Rickey and Carol Lipe and the grandson of Fannie and the late Gene Lipe and the late Carl and Nancy Alexander, all of China Grove. A 1999 graduate of South Rowan High School and 2003 graduate of UNC-Charlotte, Greg is employed by Alexander’s Ham Company.
The wedding is Oct. 22 at Hickory ?Grove Baptist Church in ?Charlotte.
