Creeger Harwood Wedding
ROCKWELL — Abby Elizabeth Creeger of Salisbury and Drew Allan Harwood of Gold Hill were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at St. James Lutheran Church.
Pastor Craig Sigmon officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at F&M Trolley Barn.
The bride was escorted by her father, Greg Creeger. She was attended by Kari Ledbetter of Rockwell as maid of honor and her sisters, Holly Wagoner of Misenheimer and Kasey Misenheimer of Salisbury, as matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were sister of the groom Lindsey Eller of Rockwell and Kristen Trexler of Salisbury.
Rick Harwood stood as his son’s best man. Serving as groomsmen were Jonathan Shive of Faith, Dexter Burris of Salisbury and brothers-in-law of the bride Ben Wagoner of Misenheimer and Sam Misenheimer of Salisbury.
Maddie Wagoner and Jenny Lee Wagoner of Misenheimer served as flower girls. They are twin nieces of the bride. Ring bearers were nephew of the groom Greyson Eller of Rockwell and cousin of the bride Hollin Autry of Clinton.
Max and Gina Autry of Clinton served as guest registrars.
The bride is the daughter of Greg and Joan Creeger of Salisbury and the granddaughter of Eugene and Eunice Hollingsworth of Salemburg and Sophia and the late Jerome W. Creeger Jr. of Clinton. A 2005 graduate of East Rowan High School, Abby received a degree in Dental Assisting from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in 2010. She is employed by Mashburn, Zsambeky & Rogers General Dentistry.
The groom is the son of Rick Harwood and Shelby Harwood, both of Salisbury, and the grandson of Charles and Loretta Whitley of Salisbury, the late Lester L. Brown Jr. of Salisbury and Clara and the late Boyd Harwood of Port St. Lucie, Fla. A 2003 graduate of East Rowan High School and 2005 graduate of Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, Drew is employed by Harwood Signs.
Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple are making their home in Gold Hill.
